Nervous Ladies in Bernal

At our weekly Wednesday ladies Bible study last week Martha and I talked to the ladies about our new study and new strategy. Starting next week the ladies are going to take turns teaching the study. That made for a few nervous, "what's?" from them! Most of them are quite capable to teach a Bible study, and we want this year to be a time of them learning to lead a study and to be confident in doing it.

Yolanda volunteered to be first, so she starts next week. We will then have a two week break for Easter vacation (a full two weeks here), and then the other ladies will take turns. Please remember to pray for them as they learn to use the gifts and knowledge that God has given them.

Lancy in Thailand

Lancy left on February 21st for Thailand, taking the scenic route from Boise, to Washington DC, to Frankfurt, Germany, to Bangkok. Her scheduled flight had been cancelled that day, so they sent her the "long way around the world". She is getting settled in Bangkok, is living in an apartment just a few blocks from her co-workers, Jeff and Jessica. She starts language school next week. Please pray for her and all of the adjustments to be made, and especially the language. Other missionaries have told them that it is a hard language to learn.
